Wav Organization attended the launch of the food security and livelihoods project in Red Sea State in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council.

In a step reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting communities affected by humanitarian situations, the We Are All Values Organization office in Red Sea State launched today the Food Security and Livelihood Project aimed at supporting displaced persons and host communities, in the presence of a number of partners and humanitarian stakeholders. The project aims to strengthen the resilience of affected families and improve their ability to meet their basic needs through practical and sustainable interventions that help support livelihoods and reduce economic vulnerability amid current challenges. The project includes a package of productive and training activities such as: accessory making, concrete production, and bakery production, within the framework of economically empowering women and enhancing their ability to generate a sustainable income for themselves and their families. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) as part of a humanitarian cooperation based on applying the highest international humanitarian standards, ensuring an effective response that is quality- and accountability-driven, while adhering to principles of monitoring and evaluation, community participation, and protection of the most vulnerable groups.
