WAAV Organization launches a solar energy project for the Istraba Health Center with support from the Norwegian Council.

In an initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare services in Port Sudan’s southern sector, the All of Us Values Organization, with support from the Norwegian Refugee Council, launched a solar energy project to support the Astirba Health Center. This project comes as part of the organization’s efforts to provide alternative energy for healthcare facilities, especially in light of frequent power outages. The project aims to equip the health center with solar energy systems, enabling it to operate medical equipment and provide continuous healthcare services without relying on traditional energy sources for various departments such as laboratories, the doctor’s clinic, wards, the pharmacy, and the nutrition and statistics department. All of Us Values Organization emphasizes that this project represents an important step toward improving the quality of healthcare provided to displaced persons and local communities in the region. It also reflects the organization’s commitment to promoting environmental sustainability through the use of renewable energy. Additionally, we highlight the importance of such projects in supporting affected communities and improving their living conditions.
